Novo Hamburgo, Brazil — March 2025 — Polyplast successfully participated in FIMEC 2025, the International Fair of Leather, Chemicals, Components, Machines and Equipment for Footwear and Tanneries, held from March 12 to 14 at the Fenac Exhibition Centre in Novo Hamburgo, Brazil — the heart of Latin America’s leather and footwear industry.
FIMEC is recognized as the largest and most influential event of its kind in Latin America, bringing together over 500 exhibitors and thousands of visitors from across the global supply chain, including chemical manufacturers, footwear brands, tanneries, and equipment suppliers.
At this year’s exhibition, Polyplast introduced its Elitan-branded chrome tanning agents to the Latin American market, underscoring the brand’s commitment to quality and innovation in leather processing.
